Laura

As a commercial finance director and qualified accountant Laura has spent the last 20 years in senior positions in some of the UK's biggest brands, Argos, Easyjet, Costa, Bosch, Neff, Siemens and luxury brand Gaggenau while helping smaller businesses at the same time. Laura is passionate about adding value and helping businesses grow to their full potential and realising their goals.

40 year old mum of two girls (and one noisy Jack Russell with small dog syndrome). I'm trying to navigate the financial challenges of being a single parent.

Nicola

Currently working in sales & marketing in consumer products supporting growth plans, but with a background in business and personal finance. Nicola is passionate about supporting people, adding value to their lives, supporting them to grow and striving to meet their goals.

30 year old (going on 50) mum of 3. Me and my husband are trying to save for a house in the current cost of living crisis.

Our business idea started with a car journey into work. We both felt that we were missing a purpose of helping people. We work together in a finance department and have a combined 35 years experience . We thought it was time to help our own finances and others like us in these unpredictable times. We realised there wasn’t anything local for the everyday person inspiring us to start The Money Friends. And what better place to start with our local community.

 

We are also passionate about education especially educating children and will look to develop something with this in the future.
